So my partner and I watched Wind River again the other night. Brilliant film. But I really want to read more about the missing/murdered indigenous women. I did a Google search and these three titles came up a few times. I’m wondering have you all any other suggestions? I don’t want fiction based on events, prefer non fiction please. I tend to save the titles on Amazon then search them out second hand when possible.
If you haven’t read Killers of the Flower Moon, it may technically fit into the category of what you’re looking for. Really good book.
Oh good shout! I’ve seen the film, so only familiar with the story from that perspective. But did a bit of a google search afterwards.
The highway of tears is rough. It really is all about the people that went missing and how the communities are handling with it. On the farm about Robert Pickton is overwhelmingly about indigenous people being victim’s of crime.
Oh thank you for that suggestion! I’ve added it to my list.
On the farm is great! It is a ruff reed but great.
