Hey,

My name's Sara. I am 28 and from the US. I am wanting to learn Croatian. My dad escaped from Yugoslavia in the 50s and got a green card and eventually residency here. He passed away in 2018. He only ever spoke it to my aunt. I want to surprise her and learn so we can play cards like they did and speak it with her. He was treated badly as an immigrant back then and didnt really stay connected with his culture as he wanted to assimilate as much as possible.

Also if no one is offering Croatian, figured Mandarian would be helpful in buisness world.

Open to various platforms including whatsapp, here, discord and eventually, if friendship develops, social media.

I can offer english in return or help with academic work lol.
