Hi there! 20F who is both travelling to Korea at the end of November and also deathly afraid of being in a country where she doesn’t speak the language :| Hoping that I could find someone around my age who could help me get to a conversational/bare minimum level by then and maybe make a friend out of it too :))

I’m born and raised in Australia by Chinese parents so I speak Mandarin but would like to develop my professional/medical language and literacy as I will be working in that field soon and would love to be able to communicate better with patients! Studied French for a long time in high school but have not used it in 3-4 years so am super rusty and hoping to pick it back up again.

I love talking about food (both making and eating!) and learning about different countries and their cultures. If you’re around 20 and happy to chat, lmk!
