Hi! I’m looking for someone to help me with Hindi and Telugu!
I go by HG, I’m a 21 year old woman in the US and I work in healthcare research. I have been with my partner, who is from India, for 4 years now and would like to put sincere effort to learning the languages he and his family know. I took some Hindi classes in university so I have a basic knowledge of that but no experience in Telugu.
I’m looking for conversational skills - I don’t need to learn the writing system for Telugu (I already can read and write in Hindi/Devanagari). I mostly want to be able to participate in the chatter at the table when I’m with the family haha Oh, and I don’t want my boyfriend to know haha he teased me too much when I was learning Hindi two years ago (I learned the double meaning of dhakkan the hard way)
I have extensive experience in tutoring, though not ESL explicitly. I can offer American English in return for your guidance. Of course I don’t mind being friends either (: Or if you weirdly want to chat about cell biology haha :p
Regarding correspondence, I’m comfortable with Discord to begin with. I’d like to get to know you first over text and then maybe voice messages/voice calls scheduled after that. I work during the week so that may be something we’d have to work around depending on our availability.
Thank you very much in advance!

There are regular classes taking place for Hindi during weekend and you will definitely meet nice and friendly people.
Hi! I grew up in a few different places, but I am fluent in Hindi! Feel free to reach out :)

hey! I'm also American (22M), but my family is from India, and I speak Telugu! I'd be happy to help! My Hindi is very rudimentary, but I'd be happy to help you with that to whatever extent I can.
DM if interested.
