Hi. I’m Dan, a native English Speaker from the United States. I’m a widower, and my wife was of Taiwanese descent. She never wanted to teach me Mandarin because she said her Mandarin wasn’t very good. She was born in the US, and really only spoke Mandarin with her mother.

I’ve always wanted to learn Mandarin, and now that my wife’s no longer here I find myself wanting to better communicate with my mother-in-law.

I’ve tried Duolingo and practiced a bit, but So many lessons are mainland Chinese accent. It leads to me always having problems.

My Mandarin is very bad. I have a lot of trouble and am pretty much a beginner.

If your patient, I’d love help. I’ll be happy to do my best to improve your English.

Thank you and have a great day.

  • 节哀。我不是台湾人 但是我们这边的口音和台湾差不多。如果需要帮助的话,请告诉我。我们可以交换语言。

  • 祝你早日走出伤痛
