Hello, I'm a Korean living in Ecuador. I speak English(fluent), Mandarin Chinese(fluent) and Spanish (around B1).

I am looking for a language exchange partner (Native Spanish speaker), preferably from Latin America, who would like to read Korean books/novels with me on Zoom (Video chat).

In order to read Korean books, I think your Korean level should be at least intermediate, probably advanced.

I've been taking this 1:1 Spanish class for 9 months on Skype (one hour per day) and I've improved my Spanish a lot by reading books with my tutor and surprisingly I've read 4 short books in Spanish last year!

This is how we do. My teacher takes pics of 3-4 pages of the book and sends them to me before we start. We start a video chat and I read them twice. First I read them out loud without asking questions and she would correct me when I pronounce a word wrong. Second round, I would stop reading whenever I have a question or don't understand a word. Currently we are reading "Bajo la misma estrella", which she chose the book and now we're almost done.

If we become language exchange partners, we can choose a Korean novel or e-book together. It can be anything! Romance, fantasy, thriller, etc. But I suggest something that is not too difficult to read and also contains some Korean culture or history so that we have more things to discuss about.

I prefer 50-60 min per day, at least 4 times a week.

A little bit about me : I love traveling, making friends and learning new languages. Foodie & Beer lover. Studied International Relations.

TL;DR: You read in Korean, I explain in Spanish. It's more focused on you improving Korean reading & speaking skills. But I also get to practice my Spanish and read books. Since we are gonna read a book, I'm looking for a long-term partner.
