Hey there, I'm 25 year old intersex person from North America who heard about this subreddit from friends and that it's a good place to exchange languages and make friends from other countries. I did grow up with the German language (in North America), but with some interesting grammar, words from many dialects of German, various slang words from English and some quite old and uncommon words. Therefore, sometimes it's not always the easiest to understand me and I would like to get more accustomed to 21st century German, especially in terms of slang. I would like to learn Swedish, though I only really know Nynorsk Norwegian having grown up with it. I have studied a few other languages as well, but the ones I listed are the main ones that I know about and the ones that I'm the most proficient with.
Apart from languages my hobbies are archery, growing plants, listening to folk music, jazz, riding horses, rock and roll from around the world, and learning about computers, especially programming and hardware. I also like to learn about folk tales/fairy tales from various countries and would love to hear about what type of work life balance you have in your country, what people do for fun, and about technological advancements in your country.
I can help with English as I am a native speaker, and I can help with Icelandic though I'm not a native speaker but I am quite knowledgeable with Nynorsk.
Jag hjälper dig gärna med svenskan!
Det klarer jeg ikke med nynorsk faen 😅
I would like to help you in German
