Hello! I'm Patrick and I'm looking to improve my Mandarin speaking skills.

A bit of background: Both my parents are from Taiwan and we (try to) mostly speak Mandarin at home. I went to Chinese school for quite a few years but I still feel very unconfident with my speaking skills especially and would love the opportunity to practice with a native Mandarin speaker. My goal is to get to a comfortable enough conversational level where I don't sound like a robot and I know enough vocab so I don't have to keep using Google Translate to look up words (lol).

With English, I was born and have lived in the United States my whole life.

I like to talk about anything. I do a podcast with one of my friends where we often go on huge tangents about random topics but some interests I have include basketball, esports (mainly cs,cod and tf2), movies/shows, and general news. Thanks and hope to talk to some of you soon!
