Hi! I’m a brazilian girl and I am searching for somebody who can talk to me in english. I know the basic, but I’m not too good with conversation, I intend to improve that. In exchange I offer brazilian portuguese or friendship, or both. I’m a journalist in Brazil, my interests are books, films, series and music (I know, basically what a human being likes, but I am one, so.). Especially, I love music and pop culture. Besides the english or portuguese, I would like very much have somebody just to talk. So, if you are interested, leave a comment please.

  • I'm a native English speaker! 24F Canadian, looking to learn Brazilian Portuguese! Hit me up!!

  • Hey, I am interested in learning portuguese (brazilian portuguese to be precise) in the coming year. I’m a native English speaker who loves tech, kpop/kdrama, good music (jazz, dance, techno, pop, rnb, neosoul, afrobeats ) and a feminist. I’d very much like someone to talk to as well, if you are up for it then please send me a private message. Cheers

  • Hey 👋🏼 I'd be happy to talk. Native English speaker living the the US. Have been learning Portuguese for about 1.5 years. Love music (rnb, hip hop, jazz, afrobeats, Brazilian too....some favs range from Seu Jorge to Liniker to Milton Nasicmento) and sing a bit myself. Big Marvel fan but like all kinds of films and series.

  • Perfect!! I’m a native English speaker ( 🇺🇸) and am learning Portuguese. I’ve been studying for about 4 years + can have conversations, but my vocabulary feels too limited, and I seem to get tripped up on grammar and some verb conjugation forms pretty often heh.

Not sure what type of journalism you do, but I also manage homelessness + Covid programs for the government (and work with refugee programs too), so I am ALWAYS curious to get more insight on any of these things in Brazil and elsewhere. Or you know...also just talk about tv shows, Porta Dos Fundos, and O Rappa :P

Who on earth downvoted you? And why?

Just jealous of how cool I sound obviously :P
