Moin! I'm from New England but I've been studying in German for a few years. I speak semi-decent German however I've been trying to read more and there are just so many words that don't get used in Alltagssprache. Similarly, I have a really hard time with picking the correct prepositions and this is also something that doesn't super matter when speaking. In theory, I should be preparing to take a C1 certification test soon but I haven't taken a legit German class in a while and I've noticed my writing getting sloppy. I also don't feel confident in my Wortschatz when it comes to less common words (i.e. I still rely a lot on context instead of just knowing what the words mean).

Anyway I'm thinking of something along the lines of a pen-pal set up where we have a prompt and then send each other a reasonable sized chunk of writing. My goal is to speak good German so I'd really want you to nit pick me. I can be less nit picky and I have the added benefit of knowing which "German-isms" to look out for.
