Hi,

I'm currently looking for a Mandarin (preferably non-Taiwanese) speaker who I can practice my Chinese with. To give a little background, I'm a 30 year old male who works in the mental health field in Northeast US and am particularly interested in topics of psychology, religion, and philosophy. Besides this I am also happy to talk about things like movies, working out, fitness, etc. Due to the nature of my work and what I'm hoping to do in the future, I am specifically looking for someone who has an interest in discussing mental health topics and is relatively open-minded to talking about rather controversial topics. Extroverts are also highly welcome!

Currently, I would rate my Chinese as being around HSK-5 level. For the most part, I can speak conversationally, read a decent amount, but am still continuing to work on becoming more conversationally fluent. If you're interested, please feel free to post and/or DM me. My experience has been that either phone/video calling has proven the most effective for me, but I'm also open to suggestions. Thanks, and looking forward to meeting you!
