Hello everyone! My name is Nick and I'm 29 years old. I've been studying Russian on and off since the beginning of 2021. If I had to guess I would say I'm recently breaking through A2 but it's a slow process.
I'm loving the challenges of pronunciation and grammar but while the apps and methods I use are helping, I think a conversational partner would be very beneficial.
Compared to my peers and other Americans, I would say my English is above average and I've been told I can be a bit of a grammar nazi.
I studied German in high school and learned a little Japanese when I was there for two years.
I'm a USAF vet who has traveled around a fair bit. My hobbies vary greatly from gaming to astronomy, photography, movies, and tv shows.
I'm pretty nervous about trying this out but I really want to see how much it will help with my Russian. Спасибо.
