I’m looking to learn Korean to try and reconnect to the culture. My mom was adopted from Korea but has no interest in knowing where she is from. I feel sad that I am disconnected from Korean culture because I know my family’s history is there. I would like to do research through Korean documents but I don’t have enough knowledge of the language. I know how to read hangul and I know foods (lol) but I don’t know anything else about the language. I would like someone to help me learn Korean and teach me about Korean culture. I can teach you English in return or any other skill you want to learn from me. Feel free to DM me or leave a comment! (I am only looking for people who were born in Korea or have strong cultural ties to Korea abroad, not people who have moved to Korea)

About me: I’m a 19 year old college student from the USA in the PST time zone. I mostly use Discord for messaging but I also have LINE and I can download other apps. I can speak basic Spanish and know a bit of Mandarin. Some of my interests are food/cooking, drawing, linguistics, and retro video games.
