Hi, I'm from the UK and looking to practise some unusual languages, preferably on zoom, as I enjoy speaking more than anything else.
My Italian is good, I speak it every day and can pass for native at times. I don't really know my language level because I don't use it for professional purposes so I've put C1.
My French is a little rusty, but I don't think it's gone down to B2 just yet! I lived there for 4 years and it comes back pretty quickly. Just thought I'd put it there just in case - you'd obviously be better off with a native but I could help with the learning process as I've been through it all.
I've been learning Welsh for about a month and half and can say a fair few things. I really want to start speaking regularly!
Tibetan is totally new to me but thought I'd go out on a limb because it's such an interesting language. I'd love a language-learning buddy for this, I'm using a Tibetan-only online language "book" that we could go through together.
Brazilian Portuguese is just something I've dabbled with here and there, but if I could get reasonably conversational that'd be great.
My main interests are: Buddhism, meditation and religion; wine, beer & spirits; languages and dialects; cooking; music, especially prog and post-rock (I do play a bit too); neuroscience (v ignorant but also super curious).
Hey, I’m Brazilian and I would gladly help you with your Portuguese! I’m currently learning French (A2-B1) so I’m seeking anyone willing to speak it with me. If you’d like to chat, send me a dm :)
