I am a 31 M from the greater New York City area that just began learning Brazilian Portuguese. I have in the past 3-4 years met many Brazilians playing beach volleyball and would like to speak the language for fun and to entice connectivity.

I really am just a beginner in Brazilian Portuguese. I will be heavily studying basic grammar and vocabulary, namely by using DuoLingo and watching Youtube videos, so any help is very welcome and I would love to be able to talk to people in their native Portuguese tongue to get me advancing.

I am totally fluent and native in English, but can also speak conversational German with limited grammar (it's been a while). I can also speak Korean at a child's level if you really want to deal with that. I am not claiming to be fluent in either, so it would be more for fun and would probably be detrimental to your language acquisition in either of those languages :).

I am employed as a Civil Engineer, but otherwise am learning the guitar (after a long hiatus from music), love to work out, and play computer games (currently heavily into League ARAM and Tarkov). I can happily bore you on any of those topics in English (or really any topic), assist you with learning or improving your English, play quite a number of computer games, or just chill and chat.
