  • Yo hit me up I love spanish speakers and like personal trainers

  • I'm old, 65, but could really help you with medical terminology, muscles, nerve pronunciation, etc. Seeking Spanish, beginner/intermediate. I'm a physical therapist but have worked as a medical transcriptionist for 20 years. Timing might be a problem since I'm in Hawaii, 5-6 hours behind NYC depending on DST (we don't do it). I am semi-retired so other than sleeping hours quite flexible. Facetime (iPhone), Messenger, (having some issues getting used to Discord but could probably manage).

  • Hey there I’m a native English speaker looking to improve my Spanish:) We can set up something if you are interested

  • So i am interested (in having one or more language exchange partners just like you!) but really can’t hold a good conversation in Spanish, I’m just too new. what should i do? Wait for improvement, or just try my best, or just text chat?

Perhaps you can start text chatting with someone, while studying the language by your side, and when you gain more confidence and can, at the very least, get the meaning of the spoken words, you try doing some short calls to check your vocabulary and phonetics. I did something like this with my first language partner. It worked, but to be fair, I already knew enough about English grammar, -but had to put some big effort into getting myself to speak without my tongue saying "not today, pal".
