Hi, i am 20 years old. And I really want to learn Italian, because i want to finish my master’s degree there, so I wanna prepare myself beforehand:)

  • Just a quick word of advice: A lot of people here don't have the right education to know how to teach Italian (or any language) from the beginning. Some have the right education, but don't have the time. Some are willing to teach you, but may not know how to guide you through this process effectively because they may not be familiar with your native language.

So my advice would be: Apply for an Italian language course in your country where a competent teacher will guide you through the learning process made specifically to suit the speakers of Albanian. And then use the people you find here for additional help with memorising words, clarifying what isn't clear, practising what you've learned during the course etc.

Hi, yes sorry for the late reply. I have already applied for an Italian language course but we’ve had to stop the classes because of the pandemic. However, I feel as if the language we learn in classes is only the more formal way, and since I just want to learn it for fun (the master’s program is in english), I want to also learn the “informal” or “street talk”, from someone who’s native, just enough so I don’t have trouble understanding when others speak to me. Thank you very much, I appreciate the help!
