Interested in language exhange via Zoom/Skype.

Dealbreakers: 1. Must use Zoom/Skype with camera on a computer (the exchange requires being able to see and read a shared document) 2. Be a native speaker of one of the above languages 3. Be over the age of 25 *I’ve no interest in the main method of communication being on Discord, or confined to typing and audio.

I’m male, but no preference on gender. The plan is 20-30 minute language swap. On my part, I’ll be bringing learning materials because my conversation skills are poor. I’m not a beginner but I wouldn’t describe my proficiency as intermediate (and my Italian is rusty). I’m interested in focusing on reading and speaking and a little bit of listening.

On your end, I am happy to help however I can. I am native English speaker (with a mild Irish accent). My understanding of English (as a language) is quite strong. I’ve taken (university) courses in English language and literature and I’ve been certified to teach it as a foreign language. So my knowledge on grammar and phonology is fairly sound.

Anyhow, if you are interested and it suits, we’ll meet for a session and after, if we both want to continue, we’ll meet on a weekly or fortnightly basis. If not, no hard feelings.

(My offer is also open to French, German and Portuguese speakers - I have a little knowledge of each, but they are less of priority). Send me a message if you are interested.
