Hello all, here is my basic bitch request. I'm a British 24m living in the UK who is seeking a language exchange with a German speaker. I enjoy reading, roleplaying games (like Das Schwarze Auge), and history.
I have taken some Goethe-Institut courses in the last year before the pandemic hit, which made it impossible for me to continue. I'm at A2 level, which obviously means my German is basic compared with most people's here. Because I'm not actively being taught right now, I'm keen to find some poor soul to practise speaking with lest I lose progress. On the flip side, I would say that I have a good grasp of English grammar for anyone seeking to polish their English.
Ideally, I would like to speak about once a week via Discord or Skype and to possibly send some written messages during the week in each language. But I'm more than capable of being flexible on the specifics.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please feel free to ask me any questions if you need them.
Hi,
if you like we could start a conversation. I'm a German native speaker from the western part of Germany. I like BritishEnglish and so I try to find someone to practise with. In case it works for you so we could start a conversation for example on Skype.
Thanks for your reply
I am a native german speaker, and I’d be very happy to work on my english. I am not sure if I can skype once per week though, as my shedule is quite full with university stuff. If 1-3 times per month is enough, feel free to pm me :)
Edit: while I haven’t yet played DSA, I have played two DSK - die schwarze Katze oneshots 😸
Hello. Once or twice a month would be fine with me. What times of the week are you normally available?
Weekends are usually easier, but Tuesday and Thursday are also pretty calm this semester. What would work for you?
Hey, I'm a German speaker. I could support you. My main interests are hiking and pc games. But I like history, engineering and cooking as well.
Feel free to write me a PM.
