I can speak relatively simple conversational Japanese and Mandarin and would like to improve me speaking and listening skills for both of these languages. I enjoy talking about food, cooking, movies, tv shows, and travel. I don’t enjoy talking much about politics, but you must be LGBTQ+ friendly. Am female and prefer other female language partners.

Hi there, I think I could be a good fit. I’m a female in late twenties and native in Mandarin. I hope my English listening and speaking skills can be further advanced despite having some foundation already as I once spent four years studying and living in an English-speaking country. I like talking about all those topics you are into, but may not have that much to share on cooking as I’m terrible at that :( No politics - no problem at all. LGBTQ+ friendly - sounds like me. As I have a genuine wish to exchange language, I’d prefer we call and actually talk and make it a routine. Maybe we can do half an hour in Chinese and then another half in English sth like that, once a week or fortnightly. Thanks!
