Hello, good morning from Portugal! My name is Lucas and I am 20 years old. I am very interested in languages and the linguistical aspects behind, I am an Anthropologist (student for now) that has a dream of living in Italy and to work in Humanitarianism! I was born in Brasil but I am living in Portugal (for 5 years now), so even though my Portuguese is closer to Brasil I know the big variations between the two and can help you in both :). Thank you very much for reading this, hope I can find a "language buddy"! Have a good day :).
hi! i'm croatian and i'd be happy to help you get better at your croatian skills (no matter what level you're at currently) :)
Are you interested in Arabic ?
Yes! Very interested in learning the alphabet! :) Want to exchange Arabic alphabet with English? Haha :)
Yes sure 😅
Interested in German?
Hello! Yes, I am very much interested in learning the German language! I know the basics of the language, I spend some time in Magdeburg :). Can I Dm you? :)
Yeah sure
Are you also interested in french ?
Hello! I am interested in almost every language. I am now focusing on Italian but French is something that I want to be able to read in the future :). I saw in your profile that you are looking for Portuguese, right? I would love to help you on this ! :)
That's exact, I try to learn it. It's not a very difficult language but my lack of time makes it difficult :)
So if I understand well, for now you're not planning to learn french yet?
I don't want you to help me with portuguese without getting something from me in return...
Yes! Not for now :). I mean, if you learn my language you will be already giving me "happiness", so you are already returning something to me :).
That's beautiful :')

why Croatian?
Hello! I have a couple of reasons: I love the landscapes of the country, the sound of the language and the whole complicated history of the Balkans. But most importantly to me, is that I want to work into this European context into my academical future, I think that the Balkans can provide a lot to the study of nationalism and identity! Other reason is how close it is to Italy haha ;). Sorry if anything on this message offended you, and I hope I answered you properly.
nah alg bro I'm Croatian and I'm just fascinated anytime somebody wants to learn because it's not the most useful language from a professional standpoint
Understand :). Well, your language is fascinating as well as your history ! Hope you have a great day
What is Humanitarianism? Serious question.
Hello! On the general conception, humanitarianism is any form of belief or action that has as an objective the promotion of a better quality of life and "human welfare". There are many ways to look at this, academical, NGO's, Social Education... That's my conception of the concept at least ;).
Thanks
