    Hello! I have a couple of reasons: I love the landscapes of the country, the sound of the language and the whole complicated history of the Balkans. But most importantly to me, is that I want to work into this European context into my academical future, I think that the Balkans can provide a lot to the study of nationalism and identity! I was very interested on the language because of the history/literature but also as a way to enter the other turkic languages, if you are open to it, I would love to learn a little more about the language!
