Hello! I'm a 23 years old male from Japan.
First, I apologize if there are any mistakes in my next English sentence. Well…, I may had already mistaken.
My English level is beginner, and I especially lack knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, so I’m looking for a language partner who can help me learning these. (Finally, I hope to be able to tell some jokes in English…)
I believe my Japanese is quite strong, even compared to other native speakers, so please feel free to ask me anything about it.
I enjoy traveling and have visited many places in Japan, mainly in the western region. Since I hope to travel abroad in the future, I’m working to improve my English skills. Besides teaching Japanese, I can also share what I know about tourist attractions in Japan.
Please feel free to chat me!
Hi, I am 49 YO male. I am a Spanish native speaker with a strong English knowledge, I am a N5,/N4 in Japanese, trying to produce more output. Let me know if interested.

Hi
Yooo I'm 26M naive English speaker looking for a Japanese partner to learn Japanese.
Hello! sending you a message :)
Anyone interested in Spanish? I am starting to learn Japanese and I need a long-term partner for language exchange.
Good morning,
I am an IELTS and EIKEN teacher located in Vietnam, but I am an American. I teach mostly Japanese people here at the local Japanese person school.
I am N1 level in Japanese so if you need to use some Japanese, I would be able to understand almost anything you need help with.
If you need any help or just want to chat, let me know.
Hello! I’m 24 yo male. If it’s ok for you, that my English isn’t native(I have IELTS 7.0), write me please. My Japanese should be about N2 level, I’m signed for my first JLPT test in this December. 僕で宜しければ、接触してください
30M bro this’ll be fun!
I sent you a message! 💌🌷
Your comment about your "Japanese being stronger even compared to other native speakers" really piqued my interest. I'm a 25 year old native English speaker from Canada, born and raised, and I've been wishing recently about "having someone who also has a naturally high verbal IQ, but in Japanese" to ask advanced questions about natural Japanese with!
The hardest part I think about actually trying to learn a language, is trying to understand, admist people constantly oversimplifying everything, how exactly to go about figuring out how to say things certain ways. English, much like Japanese (although I would argue Japanese likely moreso), has a lot of nuances that really change what you might want to say.
I'm much worse at Japanese than you are at English, but maybe that means I can be a much better help to you, because you're already at a level of English speaking that I can maybe help answer a lot of your more advanced or nuanced questions and give insight into English that you might want to know!
For me, because I have a gift for English, of prosidy and rhythm, and have always had this, part of why I wanted to learn Japanese was to be able to understand how to write poetic sentences like I can write in English, to "pay respect" to beautiful words I've discovered in Japanese to include in my English writings. Consider this example snippet of something I was writing recently that is a bilingual example of what I mean. Like, switching from English to Japanese, mid paragraph.
"Incandescent. A man of a kind unbelievable. かがやくもの、徳というは。まぶしい。ぬくもりのある、ぬくもりである"
This is the sort of thing that's very difficult to figure out how to do without a native understanding of Japanese. It took me an entire week to figure out that sentence structure and double check all the nuances of mono vs koto, and inversion (with ga vs wa inversion structures), and set phrases, and to deal with the literary trappings of a philosophical term like 徳 in Japanese literature without it sounding like I was literally defining what virtue meant objectively, in the definitional sense... So, I would be very interested in helping each other out. Maybe I can help speed up your English learning and give you some interesting things to consider, and answer your questions, from beginner to advanced, and you can do the same for me—lending your native ear to helping me understand Japanese better and how it works and feels for you guys, as native speakers, so I can get better and better at sounding just like I do in English, in Japanese.
だから日本語上手と英語上手、私たちに不可避ね?頑張る!
こんにちは!アメリカ人で、日本に住んでいます。日本語はまだまだですけど、がんばっています。どうぞよろしくお願いします。
Hello, I am a 27 male. I lived in the United States my entire life and have started learning Japanese using Genki. Currently on the first book. Would be interested in chatting
Hey there! I can help, I’ve spoken English all my life. I would love to chat with you since I’m going to Japan in march!
I can read, write and speak english basically fluently but don't have any prior teaching experience... So I can probably help "correct" your sentences and grammar but not necessarily "teach" you english so to speak...
I need help with japanese too so hopefully we can help each other out
Hey! I’m also 23 and based in the US. I’m a native English speaker, I learned 4 years of Spanish in high school, and I’m currently slowly learning Swahili (as I’m a first-generation Kenyan-American).
One of my close family friends (who also speaks better Swahili than me) is currently in Japan (for the first time by himself) for a one-month vacation. He’s able to get by with reading and writing at an N3 level.
He gave me a JLPT N5 vocab book a few years ago as I signaled to him my interest in learning Japanese because of how interesting your culture truly is, especially with how much anime I watch 😅.
Let me know if you’re interested in connecting, as there’s a lot about me that I haven’t explained yet that you might find interesting. I’m ok with texting, talking, writing, working on a collaborative project, or really anything else we’re both ok with doing.
Hi friend. I'm from Mexico but can speak english nearly fluently. I just started to learn Japanese and would love to have someone to practice and learn from. If you want we can be a learning duo :)
