Hey everyone!

I’m a 27F from China, currently living and working in Madrid. My native language is Mandarin (standard accent), and I also speak fluent Spanish.

I’d love to find a partner to practice my English speaking. My reading is fine, but my speaking is still at a beginner level. I’m thinking of starting with short sessions (about 30 mins, 2–4 times a week). We can do voice or video.

In return, I can help you with Chinese or Spanish, whichever you prefer.

A bit about me:

Based in Spain (CET time zone) Into badminton 🏸 and reading (recently a lot of psychotherapy books) Pretty chill, open to chatting about daily life, hobbies, culture, or anything else

If this sounds good, just send me a message!

  • Hey there! I’d be happy to help you with your English. I’ll shoot you a DM.

  • Another Chinese person who claims she cannot speak English. It has to be a cultural thing. You know you can speak it just fine. Your approach of overcoming this blockade is just right. All mirror praxis will nor do the trick. Perhaps a little pressure would be good too, like signing up for a class with the goal to do a B2 test after three month or so. I speak from experience.
