Hello everyone! I'm a 26 year old guy from the US. I'm looking to make some friends in the languages I'm studying/want to study, since it's a lot easier to improve when you have someone you can interact with regularly in your target language. Here's what level I'm at and what I'm looking for more specifically with each of my target languages:
Japanese: Not fluent but I can communicate comfortably in Japanese without much issue. Mainly looking for a partner to keep me from getting rusty, as well as picking up more advanced vocabulary/improving my accent and speaking mannerisms.
Spanish: I can have basic conversations, but I haven't had much practice speaking with natives so I don't have much confidence in my abilities yet. Trying to learn Mexican Spanish but it's fine if you speak a different dialect!
Russian: Complete beginner. I can read cyrillic and know some of the basics, but I don't know much more than that yet. As long as you're fine with me being a beginner I'm happy to both learn from you and help you with English.
Mandarin: Beginner, similar to Russian. I've learnt some of the basics from friends before and I can read a bit (partially from study, partially because of Japanese), but I'm not good enough to do much yet.
