I (40F) live in the US and I have been taking Korean classes for 5 months.

Seeking: I am at an A1/A2 level in Korean, which I know is very basic, but I think having a language partner to practice basic sentences (speaking and writing) and to improve my pronunciation would be very helpful to me.

Since my level is very basic, I think practicing writing would be the most useful. Korean is very challenging for me and I do not learn languages easily.

About me & language goals: I am a weightlifter (파워리프팅) and I bike a lot. I do not really follow K-dramas or K-pop. I bought a Korean cookbook and have been cooking Korean food. I live near a Korean neighborhood in a large city, but I am not confident enough to find someone to practice with in person.

I would like to take the TOPIK 1 in 2026 and I would like to go to Korea in 2027 for a few months to keep learning the language there.

Offering: I’m a native English speaker. I’m also fluent in Spanish. I lived in Spanish speaking countries and spent 6 years working in a Spanish/English bilingual job. Happy to practice talking or writing in either language.
