I speak to Eastern Europeans on a daily basis with my job and they constantly apologise (clearly turning into Brits) for their speaking, when in truth it's totally fine.
I have a mate who is from Limoges, he has lived in the UK almost 30 years and still has his French accent, but is still more clear speaking than some British people.
