Hello everyone,

I am looking to learn some Japanese. I've been studying Japanese for close to a year now and am eager to learn more. I spend roughly half an hour a day practicing and have managed to accumulate a vocabulary of ~2200 words. I am going to applying to a university in Japan for my PhD and want to learn as much as I can before I start.

I am able to teach you either English or Icelandic. I was born and raised in Iceland so I know the language well. I also studied abroad for four years so I am fluent in English.

A little bit more about me. I work as a data scientist so I love numbers and technology. I also really like Yugioh and am the current national champion so it's my goal to be able to play wtih Japanese players and read the cards in Japanese.

I hope to hear from you soon!
