Thought it would be better to have someone to get advice from earlier rather than later so it becomes more core as I go through genki. (Like how genki teaches you to end every sentence with です)
I want to eventually be able to visit eventually and not seem like some annoying foreigner.

I just mean it doesn’t seem like your English is very natural. Like it definitely seems like a language you learned later in life through textbook education. Rather than learned through immersion. That’s all
