I am highly proficient in English, currently at the C2 level according to the European language classification. However, my biggest challenge is speaking, as my English remains largely passive despite thousands of hours of exposure. For me, mastering English is a lifelong pursuit, and I won’t stop until I become indistinguishable from a native American speaker. Some may say this level of mastery isn’t necessary, and I don’t disagree—but I find it enjoyable. If you share this passion, feel free to reach out, though I know people like me are rare. Many lose interest over time, plateauing well below the average native level.

C1 spoken English is absolutely possible. It can be done in as few as 24 hours of learning – and, this is the crucial bit — 42 hours of practice.
The learning is like being shown how to use the weight & cardio machines at the gym.
But you won't get stronger or fitter unless you actually use the machines yourself.
You need to go to the gym and do the work – buying the gym membership ticket isn't enough – as most people discover a month or two after January!
To speak English well, you don't need to learn much.
But you do need to practice what you learn

No one is getting to C1 in English from nothing in 24 hours.
