Hi all!

I am looking for new friends to practice the above languages with.

I am Italian and moved to Scotland a few years ago, so I can offer both Italian and English.

I am 37 and my hobbies are: drawing, painting, reading, and, of course, learning languages. I love cats and I work as a software engineer.

I don't think we need to share the same interests to have interesting conversations and practice, as long as we are open-minded and curious to learn about other people and cultures. But you need need to like cats! Joking aside, I am trying to focus on German and Russian at the moment, but I am learning French and Spanish too.

My German used to be at a decent level when I was at uni (C1), then I have forgotten most of it, sadly. Now I am slowly reviewing it and I am currently at B1.

My Russian is really rubbish. I have started learning it a year ago too, along with French and Spanish, mainly with DuoLingo and a grammar book, but I can just introduce myself and understand a few words, while I can have basic conversations in the other two languages. I am desperately looking for a course (so feel free to share any suggestions) and to practice the few things I have learnt so far.

  • Hey, Im Steffen 30 yo from Germany. Are you still interested? :)

  • Hi! Let's chat. My Italian is decent but I lack vocabulary. I'm not native German but I speak it fluently. I'm also learning Russian for fun but I'm very bad at it.
