As the title says, I’m a native Mandarin speaker currently living in Japan, where Japanese has become my main spoken language.

I’m looking for an English or French native speaker to have regular voice calls with (around twice a week or more). I’d love for us to find a way that works well for both of us, making language learning more fun and easier.

Here’s what I’m hoping for:

• Help with correct pronunciation. • Suggestions to make my sentences sound more natural. • Teaching me some idioms. • Patience if I can’t express myself very well. • A relaxed vibe—even if we run out of topics at first, it won’t feel awkward.

A little about me:

I’m a 27-year-old female who loves learning languages, reading books, and spending time with cats. Speaking of which, I live with three cats! I’m also an introvert—according to the MBTI test, I’m an INTP, and I feel this personality type describes me quite well; the last, I'm not interested in any flirting, or romantic or sexual approaches.

About my target languages:

• English: Around C1 level. I’m good at listening and reading but struggle with speaking. • French: Around B1 level, with similar strengths and weaknesses as in English.
