Heya,

I am a 38 year old guy looking to improve my conversation and comprehension skills in Italian, Spanish, and French, in that order of priority.

I am also interested in learning Ukrainian and Serbian/Croatian at some point, but I feel that would be too greedy and spreading myself too thin.

My ideal format would be self study and a video call 2-3 times a week to chat, ask questions, work on pronunciation, etc. I am a patient and encouraging teacher, and I'd be stoked to chat regardless of your level. I find linguistics fascinating in general, so we can talk theory as well. Russian is my mother tongue, but I feel like my English is at a native level as well (university & 15 years in the US). Later I moved back to Russia (St. Petersburg) for a few years, but had to leave because of the war and general disagreement with the increased bat-shit-craziness of it all.

I'm into traveling, arts and literature, all things outdoors, rock climbing, hiking, bike-packing/ touring, cycling in the city, cheap wine, craft beer and fine scotch, new experiences, lively conversations, and just the general occasional stirring of the existential soup not to forget to enjoy it.

DM or drop a line.

Cheers,

Pavel
