  • Castilian typically refers to the language bro. Maybe you want to be more clear, as in “not the Castilian accent”? Can be confusing because there is definitely more than one Spanish language but the one we refer to when saying Spanish is Castilian. Some examples are Galician and Catalan. Perhaps name the types of Spanish you’re interested in as opposed to what you’re not interested in.

    Also European accents of Spanish are not necessarily Castilian. The Andalusian accent is quite different but still from the Spanish peninsula.
