Hi everyone. I've met some nice people here last time and now I'm once again searching for people to communicate with in English to practice my writing skills, also I can offer some help with Russian.
I'm 25, I'm a poet and a PhD student in comparative literature. Have been learning English for years, and currently I'm mostly ok with expressing any of my thoughts, but my grammar leaves something to be desired. I'm a huge literature nerd and, besides my own literary and critisism work, I like to translate poetry from English into Russian and vice versa as a hobby. My other interests include music (punk, post punk, psychedelics, art rock and sometimes metal; can reccomend some USSR/Russian hidden gems), wordbuilding and fantasy fiction, politics (I'm left-wing) and humanities in general.
So, if you're: 1) share some of these interests (especially poetry, which I love to talk about), 2) willing to help a non-native with their English, 3) learning Russian or interested in Russian culture (optional), feel free to DM me! I prefer Telegram for messaging and calls, but using Reddit chat is also ok (I don't have Instagram and Discord is uncomfortable for me to use, sorry).
Hello I am a native in English with tangentially related interests studying history, literature, and media history (film, animation, print, etc) really interested in getting to the point of studying ussr media history without translation aid but am at a very beginner level in Russian. If you are still seeking let me know!
