Hey there! I hope you're doing fine! I'm a 20 years old brazilian guy who's learning japanese. I'm currently using only duolingo so my level is very basic. I know some everyday words and phrases and I just recently began studying kanji. I came here looking to interact with a native japanese speaker (but anyone who is fluent is welcome!) because I want to practice what I've learned so far and I wish to learn to speak it in a less formal way, closer to what someone would use in everyday life in Japan. I think the japanese duolingo course is doing a good enough job on teaching me hiragana, katakana, kanji and basic speaking, but what it teaches seems kinda different in terms of formality to what I see while watching japanese youtubers or anime, so I wanted to learn the more common way to speak as well. I am also very interested in japanese culture, so I'm happy to learn about that too. I'm also open to friendships. I hope someone can help me with that! By the way, I'm open to help anyone with portuguese or english, even if you don't know japanese! Thank you for your time!
