Hello! I’m a 39F native Italian, living in Germany with my husband and three young kids.
I would like to improve my German. I’m currently like A2-B1 but I never studied it properly, just picked up things from living here many years while speaking English for most conversations 😅 Now that my youngest is about to start Krippe, I would like to properly study the grammar as well as train my conversation skills. We would like to live in Germany long term (ideally in Freiburg) and I would really like to find a job in German, so that I can practice it every day and integrate better.
As far as topics we could discuss: I like talking about grammar and languages a lot, I studied neuropsychology and have a PhD in developmental psychology. In the last years I haven’t watched many movies, but I like cinema (we can discuss older movies or current kids’ shows 😄). Talking with another parent about kids and parenting would definitely come very easy, but it’s of course not necessary. I’m interested in knowing more about German customs, culture, and so on!
If you’re interested, let me know!
