Hi! I’m Rere, 30M. I’m from Chile and I’m looking for partners to practice my English. I’m a native Spanish speaker. I work in public policy, I really enjoy learning new things like musical instruments or crafts, and I enjoy memes and cat reels.
I am looking for someone who wants to help me improve my spoken English through video calls or audio calls. I work best with scheduled sessions (30-45 min.), so if you are looking for someone to systematically practice your Spanish with, let’s get in touch!
My goals with the language exchange are to improve my confidence in speaking English. While I don't have many difficulties understanding written English or spoken English when it is spoken slowly and without slang, my lack of vocabulary and practice makes it difficult for me to express complex ideas.
This is my first time doing a language exchange, but we can plan sessions around material that we both know. For example, we could agree to watch a movie, read a text, try out a game, and when we meet, we can talk about it. I am also open to any ideas or topics that might interest you!
My time zone is GMT-4, but my work hours are flexible, so I can accommodate both evening and daytime schedules without any problem.
Hola! I’m F43 from Canada 🇨🇦 and also work in public policy! I’m a native english speaker looking for language exchange with a native spanish speaker. I’m currently learning spanish (very beginner).
Are you still looking? If so, i’m definitely interested. I really like your structured approach and ideas for practice/activities. Let me know!
Hi there Pasteque214! Sure, I'm still looking for a practice partner. I'm writing a pm to you so we could talk about it.
25NB from the US, I'm a native english speaker and intermediate spanish. I'm rusty at speaking and want to improve! I like your idea about reading or watching something before a call :) DM me if you'd like to exchange!
Nice to meet you! I'll DM you.
EDIT: I think your profile doesn't accept DMs.
How often would you like to practice? I'm interested, I speak Spanish but I learned through hearing so my writing is bad. I speak English at a native level pretty much. Maybe not exactly native but definitely advanced, like very advanced. I'm from the United States
Hi there! About that, I was thinking about practicing once per week at the beginning, in sessions of 30 to 45 minutes. By the way, I can help you improve your writing if you'd like 😁.
