I'm 37, non-binary, and live in Pacific Standard Time (GMT -7:00) currently. I'm very much a beginner with Chinese and would love to have some beginner dialogue conversations in Mandarin, while chatting about other things in English as well with the ability to increase discourse as I advance in my proficiency.

I'm into and have knowledge about a variety of things; I work in the financial/non-profit world of social services, have children, animals (domestic and farm), play, enjoy, and sing music, like television dramas and comedies, and I'm genuinely pretty sociable and friendly.

I want to get better and conversationally fluent enough for some travel next summer for a graduation trip with my children to China and Japan, as well as continue on for my business growth and success.

Happy to converse via email, zoom, or both!

  • May I ask where you are planning to go in China for your graduation trip next summer? I'm based in Shanghai. I want to improve my oral English from a B1 to a C1 level, but I'm not sure if I can help .

We'll be going to Shanghai and Hong Kong!

Hi~, here loc at HK, I'm from China and like to practice more English. Working as a postdoc, we can talk about some culture things, tech, and coffee :P
