Hello! I'm Frank (18M) and have been studying Spanish for four years. I'm somewhere around the intermediate level, though I have much more experience with reading and writing than speaking. I'd like to improve in all those areas, though!

I'm a native English speaker, with a little bit of an inland north accent. This concept of language partners is new to me, so I'm a little nervous. I have pretty strong social anxiety, so I'll definitely come off a moderate amount awkward at first, but once I get comfortable, I can talk for hours!

I'm a big fan of learning about history, geography, and linguistics! I read off and on, biographies, books on the 1800s and 1900s, and realistic fiction. I have a strong passion for comedy, a specific type I don't know the name for, or maybe it's a bunch of characteristics I happen to like that don't have a label. The only name that comes to mind right now (tengo fiebre) is Bill Hicks, but I'll probably remember more once this fever goes away. Because I'm sick, it may take a bit for me to reply.

I'm anxious, but also very excited for what the future might bring!
