Hello!

My name is Duarte and a 21-year old student from Portugal. I study translation, and am slowly learning Russian not only because it's a fascinating culture with plenty of literature I want to read (I love reading as a whole, it's my biggest hobby), but because with enough effort I could make it a work language to translate to. I've learnt the very basics, namely the Cyrillic alphabet and some basic vocabulary, but I want hands-on experience with someone who'll let me make mistakes as we chat and learn from each other. I'm genuinely terrified of getting to verbs and cases though 🥴

I'm down to help with either your Portuguese, particularly if you're interested in the European variety (though I can still help with Brazilian), or with English - I manage in Spanish and French but eeeehhh I'm not too trustworthy there.

If you're seeking a friend to exchange languages with, or just want to chat, let me know by dropping a DM or a reply! I'm always down to meet new, interesting people. Take care :)
