Offering: Chinese(Taiwanese Mandarin)(native), Seeking: English, Japanese
Hi, I come from Taiwan and it's UTC +8 here.
I love PC games and board games. We can talk about it or even play together. I believe in learning through play.
Recently, I am playing Baldur's Gate 3 and board games on Tabletop Simulator.
What's the difference between Taiwan and continental china in the language?
The main differences lie in ascent and writing.
Taiwanese uses Traditional Chinese, while people from continental China use Simple Chinese.
Additionally, for typing, Taiwanese uses Pingyin system, while people from continental China use Alphabet.
However, I believe both groups can still communicate freely in most circumstances.
thats amazing, but for one from the other side of the world, I can only imagine but not totally get those diferences, maybe I will only understand if I see with my own eyes.
You guys don't use even the letters we do, how can I come closer if we share nothing? I think it's almost impossible
I understand the differences seem significant, but we're here having a conversation right now. That's because we've got something in common.
