Hi. I'm a 23 year old man from Melbourne, Australia - though I'm currently in Yerevan, Armenia - looking for someone to text with, telegram is preferred. I'm not necessarily averse to voice calls, but I'm very time poor, particularly over the next few months, so texting is just easier rn. I've formally studied Russian for about two years at a tertiary level and read and understand the language decently, but my speaking isn't fantastic (I can get by in a Russian-speaking environment and order in restaurants, shops, etc, but struggle with full conversations). I love literature (the Russian canon and many other writers), visual art, film, history, rock music, and football.

I think I bring a lot to the table as I have pretty extensive experience formally tutoring in English among other subjects for native speakers. I'm more than willing to offer assistance with professional communication or academic level correspondence and writing.

Having that said, I'm looking for friends as much as I am a language exchange because, having done a few of these, they only really seem to work and endure when you form a tangible bond and share interests with the person you're speaking with.
