Hello! Que lo que! Γ‡a va!

I'm looking for someone who natively speaks a Caribbean style of Spanish (or similar enough to it) so that I can practice in a familiar dialect to Dominican Spanish.

I'm Dominican American but unfortunately was not regularly taught/encouraged to speak Spanish by my family. I know the basics and have a decent vocabulary/accent but I lack confidence when speaking and I struggle greatly with forming correct sentences on the spot. So I would like to improve my conversational Spanish.

I also took 4 years of French in high school so I would like to brush up on my French (but am also open to learning Kreyol if anyone out there is offering). :)

Since I am rusty/out of practice with both French and Spanish, I will need to pair up with someone who knows at least a little bit of English (or doesn't mind me using google translate at first to communicate lol). I would like to do 1-2 practice sessions per week (afternoon or weekends). We can talk via google meets, discord, zoom, or phone (google voice).

Let me know if you are interested!
