Hi! I'm not really able to offer Korean because my skill isn't that great. But I can advise you on what to do, bring, expect, etc as a solo female traveler to Korea.
Phone:
Option 1: unlock your phone and get a Korean SIM card. Download Google Voice or similar free VOIP and change your OTP.
Option 2: add an international plan
Apps: Papago, Google Translate, Naver Maps, Seoul Subway
Money/bank: alert your bank. Get a card with a chip and 4 digit PIN.
Get a VPN.
(I'm going to be adding information through the day)
