My name is Daniel. I'm 18, and a Spanish Native Speaker from Mexico. So, I've been learning English for over 4 years now. Really been in love with this language since I started learning it. Haven't done any kind of test to check out my current level, but I'll guess something around B1-B2.

I want to find someone who has vast knowledge in the language. They don't have to be native, though. And I don't really care about the gender of the person either. But they must be serious.

I also want to do Zoom calls(we could chat as well but I'm especially looking for speaking abilities). We can turn the cameras off if you dont feel comfortable enough to show your face, and we just listen to each other. We could watch Netflix in a language and discuss our opinions of what we think about the series/movie (we can switch languages; there are a bunch of great series/movies in Spanish too). Or we could also write essays and then correct each other's mistakes. And I have WhatsApp or Messenger if here's an inconvenience.

I have been using Anki for quite a time now to learn English and Japanese. And I have a streak of 772 days (it does seem much, but I just got used of using it so many days, and only takes less than an hour either way). So, Anki users are welcome too.

You don't really need to have a super Spanish level; I could get on well in English. I am really patience, and you can tell me if you're uncomfortable speaking. We're here to learn. So, if you're starting that's pretty much right. I am available from 2:00pm-8:00pm (Mexico City Time). My ideal plan would be to get together two times a week for an hour or two, I'm pretty open to change it, though.

Some stuff that I like are:

-Anime: Even though, I'm not a big fan of it. I could watch one every now and then; there are some gems like Attack On Titan or Evangelion.

-Japan: I know it could be here because of the anime but I really enjoy its culture. It's so unique and weird at the same time, but in a good way.

-Brazil and Portugal: I also try to learn Portuguese (which means just watching content), and I just like the vibe from Brazilians. They're kinda neat in many ways. And the way the Portuguese speak is just genuinely awesome.

-Language learning: This is kind of obvious. However, I'd say it's great to know the best ways of learning a language. My best technique is Comprehensible Input by Stephen Krashen.

That's it. I would love to know people who are interested. That's the case. Hit me up!
