Hey, I'm 27 y.o. and currently live in Tbilisi, Georgia (GTM +4). I have a B1 or B2 level and want to improve it. I'm good at reading and understand very well by ear, but I'm not very good at writing and speaking. I offer you my knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian. I know many people don’t like Russians now, but personally I didn’t do anything wrong, my mother is Russian, and my father is Ukrainian, so I myself am most against everything that is happening now. I work as a full-stack developer, I love to play videogames and boardgames, take photos, I used to write music and play the flute.

I am brazilian, and i can help you with both portuguese and english (i speak english fluently with no accent).
I have been learning russian for around a month for the moment, and i am really struggling right now. I have one friend that kind of helps me, but i can't say he is that good of a help. I am not saying that he isn't helping, i am saying he is more of a friend than a language partner.
So as you can imagine, i am more of an A1 in russian, maybe even lower lol. My reading is pretty poor and my grammar is terrible, but least i can pronounce "ы".

I enjoy playing chess as well as simply talking. I love cooking and physics and math as well. I have forgotten much of my Russian and only shortly tried to learn Ukrainian before Russia invaded

Languge wise, As for English proficiency, I used to teach English when I lived in South Korea. As for the languages I speak, I speak English, Korean, Arabic, some Pashto, can read Hebrew with some Hebrew/Yiddish conversation skills (I am Jewish). The Russian/Ukrainian would also be cool to learn since my Jewish ancestry is Russian and Ukrainian Jew.
As fas Russian unpopularity, as a Georgian, that is not on you. Y’all have had your own issues with Russian invasions. I like Georgians. When I was in Afghanistan, I work with Georgian Special Operations troops and those guys were professional and hilarious.

To russian people, the portuguese phonemes are very similar, obviouslly the language is very different, but the phonemes are similar.

Hi, I’m from Ukraine and I was born in Kharkiv. I have been living there all my life. At 2 of March me and my family decided to go to the western part and I was about to go far to Europe but men in Ukraine should stay here, “they” try to involve as many as possible people to army, because of that it is not easy to leave the country in legal ways. So, I’m continue working in DevOps/system engineer position, try to do my best, me and my family stay safe now. Before the war Ive had more active course of life, I was training in mma gym, I was swimming in huge Akvarena pool, I was riding on my bike from spring to autumn, I could play football and basketball with my friends. All I do now is working remote from home, study, sometimes play on xbox, listen to hip hop music I really like something like The Dogg Pound and The LOX, listen to early 2000 rock music like Trapt and Trust Company, watching news and wtf I don’t understand how long this shit will going on.
Hey, I was born in Kiev and lived there until 2013, then I moved to St. Petersburg because my mom got sick and I wanted to be around, I didn't know then what would happen in 2014 and what would happen next. I remember playing with my friends in the neighborhood, going to university, going to the sea with my acquaintances and other things. After I came to Russia I never found any friends, I lived here for 5 years and I feel completely alone, but I can't go back to Ukraine now. My friend is still in Kiev, we correspond every day and I really empathize with him. Now I am in Georgia, I left here not to be forced to go to war against my own friends and family, I don't understand what's going on and I really want it to be over at last. I live in a foreign country and can't go back to my own, all I do is work to get my mind off of it all and I'm not making any new friends here. I understand how you feel.
