  • Where are you from? How old are you?

I'm 24 years old, i from Costa Rica

Nice to meet you. I am 38. I'm looking for someone my own age to speak with. Good luck, friend

    Hello, no problem.

    Good luck, dude.

How good can your spanish be if you dont recognize the word Mujer?

Gracias. I see you are familiar with the movie Good Burger. Yes you are right, you're a dude, im a dude, hes a dude, shes a dude. We're all dudes!!!

If you found out the original meaning of that word in english, you wouldnt be to keen in being refered to as one ;)

Honestly, "Dude" I've heard it in other places, not from that movie. In the end it is about learning and since we enter this debate if I am interested to know its real "origin". It's always good to know where, how and when to use a word.

The term "dude" may have derived from the 18th-century word "doodle", as in "Yankee Doodle Dandy". In the popular press of the 1880s and 1890s, "dude" was a new word for "dandy"—an "extremely well-dressed male", a man who paid particular importance to his appearance.

The word was used by cowboys to unfavorably refer to the city dwellers.

Oh right, thanks for the explication, i will be careful when using the word "dude"

One of the dumbest things I’ve heard on Reddit in a hot minute.
