I'm a native speaker of Canadian English, and a high level speaker of fluent Swedish. Conversational in Norwegian, but rely a lot on code switching. I would like to speak a more pure Norwegian.

Looking for Dutch speakers to improve my speech, since I am ethnically Dutch and have family members who live in the Netherlands. Their English ability is limited so I'm looking to break the language barrier. Ive been studying Dutch for only a few months, but I'm making decent progress due to its similarities with Swedish and English.

  • Hi! Have you already found someone to practice with? And if not, would you be willing to share a bit more on yourself/interests and what method(s) you've been using to learn Dutch, what your time investment would preferably be and how you'd like to practice?

I'm a Dutch native, trying to learn Swedish, and I'd love to try and help someone learning Dutch with your reasons in mind. I enjoy learning Swedish a lot and know English on a C1 level, so I'd really enjoy talking about the similarities and differences between the languages.
