I'm so glad that the solution to "our main vocal who got by far the most parts has left the group" wasn't having Sihyeon sing 60% of the song entirely herself, Onda did great (her vocal colour is very different from Sihyeon and Mia though so I really wonder if new songs are gonna write with that in mind or not).
Also my brain is broken because I see that intro pose Aisha(?) is doing and all I can think of is "tfw when you're a doll and the kid insists on storing you in the most unhinged pose possible every single time".
I think Aisha and Onda might have more practice/confidence than her in terms of singing, it kind of reminds me of Moonbyul's position in early Mamamoo. Looking at how they redistributed other songs they usually give;
Mia's hardest parts to Sihyeon (rightly so IMO)
any higher or "sweeter" sounding parts that suit Onda's tone that Mia/Yiren sang before (and some Sihyeon did before, I guess to keep her from doing too much) to her (they're really focusing on her being a contrast to the general girl crush sound they have; I find she gets the parts that switch things up, bridge two sections, or "cut through" in some way)
lower register and often more sing-talky ones that suit Aisha's tone but that someone else handled before to her
... and then if E:U gets added parts it's the "idol-rap"/spoken word parts that Yiren/Mia did before

I wonder why EU, who got by far the least lines, didn't get any more parts.
Because she's not really a singer
Neither is Onda or anyone except Shihyeon.
True, but I guess their tones sounded nicer

Sihyeon is one of those idols that i thought would had gone pretty popular. Happy to see Everglow continue though
I've missed Everglow, glad to see them performing again finally.
EVERGLOW PERFORMANCE IN 2025?? IN THIS ECONOMY?? SOMEONE TELL ME THIS ISN'T A DREAM
It isn’t! They’ve been performing a lot over the past few months!
Including in genocidal russia, helping the russian economy! Isn't that great??? They get to keep bombing Ukrainian civilians!!! Thanks Everglow!!!!
I don’t like the decision but it was not Everglow’s decision to make, it was their new companies.
And let’s not pretend a tour by a midsized kpop group in Russia is gonna fund a whole war to continue-
"LA DI DA" is still such an amazing song!
is it just me or does EU look stressed? :(
missed seeing them regardless, hopefully next time they’ll have some back up dancers to help fill the stage
Maybe she was nervous?
They did amazing! I actually didn't expect the song to sound the same, and it doesn't but it's also genuinely good? Like, Onda did so well!
The new version sounds kinda awesome.
