I once blew up an engine in a Toyota Supra on a test drive. It was an old beater '88 with like 230k on it. The salesman brought a brand new at the time Caddy DHS for me to drive back while they waited for the tow truck. I was 17 with my girlfriend and they gave us the keys to a $60k caddy and didn't take my lowball offer after the engine blew 😂
It’s a semi truck because it pulls semi-trailers. Like a tow truck tows things, or a delivery truck carries deliveries. We define trucks by what they carry.
you´ve gotta respect the giant truck. They can´t brake very well, and as it turns out, getting your car compressed into a pancake will cause you to lose a lot more time than just picking a better time to pass
I dont think the truck was trying to pass, the driver either zoned out or where occupied with other stuff cuz the feels really late to change lane, I think he just tried to avoid crashing into the semi truck bed.
I don't think he expected the pickup to try and change lanes. You can see the truck driver sort of look at the pickup surprised and try to turn the steering wheel, but he's too late at that point (I'm also not sure if the pickup signalled it was gonna change lanes)
1) was that the airbag that came flying out of pickup?
2) was that a brand new pickup? I’m asking because of the sheet of paper on the window that you see in dealerships.
You can tell by the vehicle he's driving that he didn't go to college, but dude you literally are in the process of passing a tractor trailer on your driver's side. You forgot he was there?
Defensive driving 101: you should be prepared for the vehicle in front of you to apply 100% brakes at any second.
You can see that the man tried to steer and possibly brake but he must carry something very heavy since it didn't really move. It's fully a white truck's fault by trying to abuse that "defensive driving 101" by being an asshole and squeezing through
This platform makes me sad, I’ve done a lot to get videos of people literally dying in car accidents off of my feed and I still see this shit. And all of you motherfuckers do not give a single fuck that the guy died because he was driving a pickup and “haha pickup driver stupid”
"Despite the dramatic footage, the North Carolina Highway Patrol said no one was seriously injured in the wreck. Troopers said the driver of the white truck was at fault and charged with careless and reckless driving."
Idk why you’re being downvoted for not wanting to see people get hurt. I know this sub is all about it, but mostly those guys are fine and we aren’t left wondering
I’m just having a real bad day and the algorithm on this fuckass platform doesn’t help. I have completely forgotten that I was part of this sub and haven’t seen it in months, and of course the instant I’m having a shitty day this pops up while I’m trying to look at memes. It also doesn’t help that so many people on this platform are just so hateful and vile towards literally everything. I probably shouldn’t vent here but I really don’t have anywhere else to, it’s just so fucking frustrating
The stupid pickup driver is fine and was charged for reckless driving. I hope you see better days, you did sound pretty angry in your previous message.
Have you tried reading comics instead of scrolling Reddit? There are apps like Webtoon and Tapas where you get access to a shit ton of diverse artistic and narrative styles, so you stay in control of what you'll see and read.
Also, to avoid the algorithm pushing subs and thematics on you, don't interact with those. No comment, no downvote, nothing, or they'll feed it to you later.
Haven’t touched this mess for two weeks and I’ve never been better. Just came back for some info on a video game, and I think that’s all this website is gonna be for from here on. I hope you’re doing well
Although the man in the white truck is wrong for trying to gas it in front of the 16 wheeler, the 16 wheeler has a duty to drive defensively and let him in front of him to prevent this exact situation. I'm pretty sure the 16 wheeler driver lost their CDL if this is in the US.
Well for one he could have surrendered the lane instead of pushing the pickup into the trailer. Pickup is all kinds of in the wrong, but it's every driver's job to do their best to prevent death and injury wherever possible. He should have just started taking out those cones instead of nearly squashing a human being.
Yeah there is no time to react to that. People who make those types of merges should take the blame every time. Its just pure negligence when you merge like that
The man in the truck having a worse time
not anymore
That man in the portable potty is fucked..
Not anymore.
One might say, that poor guy is shit out of luck
For real. I mean probably not alive, not having a time at all anymore…
Dude actually survived with little to no injuries, amazingly enough. He was on a test drive.
What even happens when you completely and totally annihilate a vehicle while on a test drive?

I test drive shitters professionally
I learned stick on a test drive
Which one? It’s funny how you use the work truck for the pickup. What would you use for the big truck?
18 wheeler, big rig, semi truck, lorie
Thank you. Not native English hence my question.
Don't make no sense
Why is the smaller a truck and the bigger semi?
Because the English language is fucked
Understandable, have a good day
Semi refers to the trailer semi-supporting itself.
That makes more sense, but still makes no sense
You don't hear semi and think "oh, it must be because the trailer semi-supports itself", you hear semi and think half or part
It’s a semi truck because it pulls semi-trailers. Like a tow truck tows things, or a delivery truck carries deliveries. We define trucks by what they carry.
The part that moves the trailer is actually called the tractor.

The guy in the truck got pulverised
Dude actually survived with little to no injuries, amazingly enough. He was on a test drive.
Probably snapped his neck ☹️
Apparently he survived with minor injuries!
When I have an anxiety-inducing experience, I often also head straight for the toilet.

And the man in it...

r/unexpectedTypeONegative
Damn ya got me.
But this needs to be
r/subsifellfor
I mean I know you don't want to hit your brakes and shit but maybe that would have been easier
Can’t believe dude got sandwiched between two heavy vehicles and survived without injury
Its always the lifted trucks, thinking they're invincible
Is that Wolverine on the passenger seat?
looks like the pick up trucks fault
That truck popped like a tick.
Cut off too soon!
Worst kind of final destination
The huge sticker covering his blind spot certainly didn’t help the guy in the truck. But even so he’s got huge trailer mirrors. He just didn’t look.

What’s song is this? It fucks
That’s the ol’ expecto deleto spell from Harry Potter
Nothing - he clearly stopped in time

No shit
How does his vehicle indicate academic achievement? My sister drives a GMC Sierra, and she’s got a university education.
Meanwhile this hatchback driver barely made it through secondary school
Hey thanks for checking in

Bunch of soulless fucks

So you can chill tf out now
Found a pickup driver
You’re on KILLED the camera man and your complaining about potentially lethal situations? Pardon me for not taking you seriously.
Doesn't really fit the sub though, does it?
TBF, we don’t know what happened after the toilet got hit
There is such a thing as suggested content…
There is also such a thing as blocking subs
Less idiots in the world is not a bad thing
Block the sub genius.

Tbh getting off the algorithm part of reddit helps. Use the old style frontpage.
I just went and manually removed subs that I keep seeing that I don’t like, and I’m gonna get off of this stupid website for a while
Best of luck 🙏
Thanks homie

You’re shitting me. How does a truck of that size slow down quickly enough to let that stupid motherfucker in?
Well for one he could have surrendered the lane instead of pushing the pickup into the trailer. Pickup is all kinds of in the wrong, but it's every driver's job to do their best to prevent death and injury wherever possible. What are you smoking?
Please don’t ever drive anything bigger than a sedan.
Momentum, have you heard about it ?!
the white truck could’ve slowed down wayyy faster than the semi in the left lane
Nevermind I guess I was wrong. Only the white truck got charged.
Yeah there is no time to react to that. People who make those types of merges should take the blame every time. Its just pure negligence when you merge like that
Merge? He switched lanes without looking.
